Tarragon/Basil Dry Rub

This rub can be used on pork, chicken or beef.  Fabulous!

1 tablespoon   dried tarragon
1 tablespoon   dried sweet basil
1 tablespoon   granulated garlic or garlic powder
teaspoon   salt
1 teaspoon   ground pepper
1 teaspoon   lemon zest (optional)

Rub generously on the meat and allow to sit for at least two hours prior to cooking.  This should be enough for 4-6 pork chops, depending on size.
