Outrageous Hot and Sour Garlic Sauce
This stuff is like a karate chop to your taste buds. Its sour, garlicky flavor demands your immediate attention before quickly mellowing into an intriguing tapestry of flavors. Wonderful as a dipping sauce or spooned over grilled chicken or fish. I fashioned this from a garlic chicken recipe I found on the internet. The garlic chicken wasn't a keeper but it gave me the idea for this sauce. Yum.
Mix all except the cornstarch in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and return strained sauce to pan. Thicken to your liking with the corn starch mixture.
