Wolverine's Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie
From Wolvie, a dear cyber-friend this has been declared by darling daughter as the best pie she has ever eaten. This marvelous recipe will dazzle your friends and delight your family. Simply magnificent!
In mixing bowl combine sugar, butter, corn syrups, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Beat at medium speed until well combined.
Stir in melted chocolate and mix to combine.
Stir in Bourbon. Add toasted pecans.
Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 350 and bake for 25 minutes more or until filling is set. If it starts to brown to quickly, cover with foil. Cool to room temp to serve.
Garnish with pecan halves dipped in additional melted chocolate, serve with
