- 8 pork chops
- 2 cans of golden mushroom soup
- a little oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown the pork chops in a little oil in a pan or on a large griddle, peppering them on
both sides (add a little salt if you like).
Place the browned chops in a casserole dish big enough to fit all of 'em in it. Dump
in the Golden Mushroom soup (DON'T add water!) covering all of the chops. Cover and bake
in a 350 degree oven for one hour. That's all there is to it!! Use the cooked soup
as gravy for mashed potatoes or rice.
This recipe is so easy and the chops come out very, very tender especially if you use the
sirloin cut pork chops. Kids love this recipe too! You can also vary it by using
Cream of Mushroom soup instead of the Golden Mushroom.
