Red Curry Paste

This is the most common of the curry pastes used in Thai cooking, the others being being yellow and green.  It is also the most fiery.  Is made from many different ingredients such as coriander, galangal or ginger, lemongrass and garlic, but the most prevalent ingredient are red Thai chiles.  It is intensely hot and typically added to coconut-based sauces to form red curry.
